Out for a leisurely drive, hunger set in while driving down US 40 near Knightstown, spotted B&B on a curve, had to turn around. Glad we did because it was Delicious! Friendly service, (sit wherever you like) light crowd for a rainy Saturday. Better for us. Porkasaurus on the specials menu? 7oz pork patty, with bacon, brisket, cheddar cheese and toppings. Never had one so that happened. Smells of smoked meat in the air. Plenty of meaty menu options. Opted for grilled 4 cheese sandwich add brisket (yum), dipper fries and o rings. Pretzel bite appetizer with beer cheese scratched the surface. Heard brisket nachos were a favorite along with brisket mac & cheese. Saw the side salad at another table (looked like a standalone meal), even they had to question the portion, happily of course. Didn't see a dessert menu, yet the seasonal? Desert option was caramel apple cheesecake...decadent! Wish this place was closer to Indy, ro be honest. Worth the stop!

We had a large group come in Friday at around 3 before a basketball game and we were very disappointed. The original small girl that was helping us was very kind and helpful and very welcoming. Then we heard another girl ask, "Why are you helping them?" So then we were stuck with her and her s****y attitude. Took forever to get drinks, refills, our food. And Lord help that first girl, because every time she tried to help one of us, our waitress snapped at her. Then she was complaining and making excuses the entire time about everything! Food was great. Service we started with was great. Server that we ended up with sucked.
Waited 20 minutes for someone to get our drink order and appetizer the pretzel bites another 25 for a refill and to take our order which was 2 burgers, another 20 for round 3 of drinks, 45 minutes on our food which was good .... we had 2 different waitresses one was rude and one visited twice the other was apologetic and checked up on us. A lot of running around empty handed. Not one of our glasses was picked up the whole time we waited.
I've been many times and service, food, and atmosphere is always on point. Especially for the price point. I didn't come as often this past summer because they decided to not open the patio. It's unfortunate because it's an east facing patio and a great way to escape the sun and enjoy a meal close to home.
There's only a couple places in town I'd recommend and this is one of them. Definitely the best beer tap in town.

Block & Brew is a nice family restaurant in Knightstown. The burgers are the best thing on the menu, in my opinion. If you want a little of the unusual, there are some bison options. The steaks are good, but not worth the $35-$45 price …
We usually come in once a week sometimes more, always with a big group as this is our favorite family dinner spot. Everyone has their favorite: the tenderloin, the wings, the brisket nachos, the cubano and all the steaks are phenomenal. Just all the food is always so good! There are a few drinks there too that are the best anywhere I've been. Bloody Mary's for one and spicy margarita!
The past few times we've come in, our service has been absolutely terrible. And it's always the same person! No matter what day or time we go! She is very rude to us and the people she works with, and she goes around saying how much she hates her job and tries to see if any of her tables has a job she can apply for! This IS EVERY time we've come in the past month. It really brings down when we get together as a family. I think we're going to have to start going somewhere else. It's a shame, because we really enjoy the food there and my dad loves your bourbon selection.
